Dear Editor:
As a student going back to a state university there are many challenges. Some of these challenges are not in the classroom. Raising a family while attending classes, learning job skills and managing everyday costs of living need to be balanced with tuition, textbooks and classes that are under threat of being cut due to rising state deficits.
Pat Reynolds as an educator, Board of Education member understands these concerns. His expertise on these multiple levels puts him in a unique position to solve the problems facing public education for adults and children. Our future, vote Reynolds for the 90th District.
Mary Mushinsky is a strong supporter of the people of Wallingford and Connecticut. When walking down the street, she’s approached by many people, to thank her for things she’s done, to share their story as a request or to let her know what is going on. She always takes time to truly listen. I see it time and again. I’ve also shared with her myself, without disappointment. She is the person I’m voting for to continue serving the 85th District as my representative. She takes the time to know what is needed and works hard to accomplish it.
